Guatemalan artisan Rodrigo Ramos carves this beautiful toucan from pinewood, hand-painting a tropical rainbow motif. Manuel creates employment in his community with his small workshop and strives to reinforce local cultural identity. Carving his first piece in 1993, Manuel carries on the family tradition of woodcarving in the footsteps of his father.
