Just as an owl says 'who', this bookmark instinctively says 'read', but in a fun and colorful way. Mexican artisans Pablo and Lucy Mendez create the bookmark with this purpose, hand-carving copal wood and painting the owl in their country's prized alebrije motif, with swirls, dots and vivid colors contributing to the owl's unique identity. Pablo and Lucy dream of their artistic creations finding homes across the globe where people can experience a piece of Oaxaca's heritage.
