A normal turtle loves to eat greens, but thankfully this ceramic turtle will offer its shell to a little plant, making an adorable flower pot that will add cheer to the day. Guatemala's master ceramic artisan, Vitelio Orozco, incorporates the pottery traditions of Antigua Guatemala into this flower pot, through a time-tested process, starting with molding the clay into the shape of a turtle, then firing it in a kiln at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, later painting it and covering with varnish.
