Handmade Albesia Wood Grandmother Statuette - Caring Grandmother | NOVICA

This adorable grandmother statuette is the creation of Wayan Cidra, a member of the non-profit organization Bhakti Senang Hati in Bali. Founded and run by people by people with physical challenges, the organization provides services for disabled Balinese citizens. Cidra hand carves the statuette from albesia wood, using pandanus leaf fiber for the grandmother's hair and giving the wood an antique finish.
