Pomegranates, the supreme symbol of rebirth and prosperity in Armenian culture, are the inspiration for Jevo’s rustic yet refined works of jewelry art. Working with brass, the artisan design duo adds sterling silver accents along with cabochon cut carnelian and sardolite representing the pomegranate, or nur, seeds. Hammered ancient symbols and a mix of oxidation and high polish finishes add a traditional touch–true works of wearable art. The necklace includes a sterling silver rollo chain.
